random ramblings

So I found my husband's birthday present

I think he'll really like it

Sometimes men are interesting when it comes to gifts

We shall see on February 5 what the verdict is

So last night I did an Ondemand workout 

That left me sore this morning

It was a Jackie Warner one

I had never heard of her before yesterday

It was very isolative on muscle groups

It was also long

But the isolation and length are I think what make it hard

Whereas the Jillian Michaels ones mix muscles which adds some relief 

But doesn't cut out intensity or difficulty

So if you live in Chicago 

They hype has taken over

The Bears play the Packers later today

And the winner gets the golden ticket

We're going to a game party after church

But even at my job there was pre game drama

My boss loves the Packers and she played their theme song

You could hear a chorus of boos throughout the building

She wore green and yellow all week

She even brought a cheese head to work on Friday

But the Bears fans showed up loud in proud as well

I am a neutral in regards to this game

But since I live here I slightly prefer the Bears

So we'll see how it turns out


Life is good
I feel the most focused and relaxed of my life
The only thing I need now is to find a stylist who really knows 
Natural Hair

It seems that the natural hair movement is in full force
I've been natural for 8 years
I have done my own hair the majority of that time
But I got trims and colorings by professionals
But in 2011 with every black magazine featuring articles 
More and more celebrities wearing natural hair
The majority of black women in commercials wearing natural hair
Where are the people who know how to do it
I'm not against random people that have skills
But I want a professional that has an actual salon
I want a reliable person who doesn't pretend to know what she doesn't
Is that too much to ask?
