blizzard revisited

Weather is amazing
Snow is intricately beautiful in small amounts
And it is amazingly exquisite in large amounts
Some things (i.e. a blizzard) happen
That you cannot help but know that God is real
A tiny water droplet transformed into a crystal star
This snowflake can shutdown a city
This snowflake can lead to the cessation of flights
This snowflake blankets the landscape with pure bright light
There is just something about a fresh snowfall

So today was another snow day
We started another cycle of P90X
I am really enjoying it
I also need to add some book reviews 
All this snow has been adding to my reading time
At this very moment I'm at the library with the husband
I brought Run Your First Marathon with me
It's getting my hyped up 

So I know I have work tomorrow
But the roads are much more cleared today
And tomorrow's Friday 
So going to work for 1 day isn't too shabby

But all in the all the blizzard was a good break 
It took the edge of routine
It made everyone freeze and refocus
I watched the news way more than normal 
Over the past 3 days
But there were all these stories of people coming together
Helping, Sharing, Reaching out

The husband and I went to help our friend shovel her driveway
There was a random camaraderie on the street
All the different families and friends working on the same foe
And chatting across driveways
Those with the snow blowers assisting 
Life is good
And the bonus is it's February winter is almost over
