So since I've been on summer break I've been painting my nails more often
And trying to be more creative
I was a polish-aholic all through Jr. high and high school
I did designs and random color combos
I went to college and just didn't have enough time
So I just started building a polish collection again this year
So I am going to do some nail posts
I call this one Caribbean sparkle because it reminds me of the ocean in Jamaica
I wanted to do something fun and sparkly. The pictures are sans flash.
I had already worn the base color alone this summer. So I added a rounded square at the tip to cover 3/4 quarters of the nail and then added sparkle to my hearts contentment.
The polish used was
Salon Hansen Xtreme Wear Mint Sorbet
OPI Start to Finish
Urban Outfitters Blue 9
Nyx Spot Light
I did one coat of each color and two coats of the sparkle
I really like Spot Light because it has tiny glitter sparkles and big iridescent circles
I am not in love with Mint Sorbet
I fully appreciate the color but the polish is very thick but each time I use it I get more used to applying it.
I have been following some nail blogs as well check out what I read for links
