Sometimes random things happen
Sometimes you figure out why
Sometimes you are left wondering for ever
And sometimes you take advantage of what your dealt
I locked my keys in the car today
And in the process locked my purse, cell phone
laptop, mocha iced coffee, jump drive, two library books, and Bible
I called the husband to see when is eta was
So instead of what I had planned to do after work
I washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen
And now am sitting on the deck drinking ice water and using my brother's computer
It's hot like 98 degrees but there is a very sight breeze and we have an umbrella
But I just feel so peaceful and free
I'm about to use Bible Gateway to do my quiet time
And just take in nature and reflect on life
So who knows why my plans were deferred
But I am going to take advantage of peace and quiet.
